Tobias Jensen “Different Eyes”

New deals and editorial support

Our publishing artist Tobias Jensen is making waves. After the successful kick-off with “Closer Closer Closer“, the Swiss artist drops another hit-single named “Different Eyes“ which is already causing some buzz on radio and editorial playlists on DSPs. Additionally, we have signed a deal with Gresham Entertainment in South Africa, which will represent Tobias Jensen in Sub-Saharan territories.
More awesome singles and an album are scheduled for early 2024 (release on muve recordings).

“Different Eyes” is a song Tobias Jensen never intended to write.

In life, there are times when we have to let a loved one fly and say goodbye. Despite our desire to turn back time, it is impossible. Music soothes and heals a grieving heart when words fail. Music allows us to see life through different eyes, from a different perspective.

There is no doubt that Tobias Jensen’s “Different Eyes” is one of his most intimate and personal songs.

Stranger Reworks

Chiara Dubey – Stranger

New reworks by Egopusher and Recue

It’s an honor for us to announce the release of two awesome remixes of Chiara Dubey’s “Stranger”, which was the first release on our LIVANA MUSIC label. In both versions, the song is taken to a new level and will certainly reach a broader audience.

Read some thoughts on the rework by the producers themselves below:

“We’re fans of Chiara’s dreamy neoclassical music and her ethereal voice, so we were thrilled when she approached us for a remix of her song «Stranger». Our goal was to create a stripped-down and trippy track, in contrast to Chiara’s orchestral version. We aimed to capture a late-night car drive vibe and tell another story by cutting and rearranging her vocals, resulting in a melancholic soundtrack suitable for late-night journeys.” (Egopusher)

“Featuring Chiara’s beautiful vocals combined with dark, distorted electronic tones, this remix flirts with dance floor-friendly electronic sounds but ditches the four on the floor clichés. Whenever you rework an original you like, you tend not to depart too drastically. However, the aim was to create something that respected the original and brought something completely reimagined with my own voice.” (Recue)

Chiara just finished her forthcoming album which is planned to see daylight in early 2024. Expect another chapter and previously unreleased music by Chiara towards the end of this year. Our team is thrilled to begin promoting the songs from the upcoming album very soon.

On another note, three older Chiara tracks are now part of the soundtrack to Isabel Coixet’s film “Un Amor“. The movie was premiered on the 26th of September at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain, which is huge news!

LIVANA MUSIC gets publishing rights on material

We’re happy to announce that Swiss/Danish singer & songwriter Tobias Jensen has signed a publishing contract with us for his next album and all included singles. The first single “Closer Closer Closer” is scheduled for September 14th 2023 via muve recordings and we can’t wait for you to hear it. We think that Tobias’ new songs will cause some serious damage to airplay!

How about taking the plunge and chasing your dreams? Having followed this path since his youth, Tobias Jensen, who was voted “Best Talent by Swiss National Radio SRF3”, has never looked back.

Tobias Jensen reflects on his roots in Denmark and travels to a small beach house on the Baltic Sea in winter to compose and record demos for his upcoming album. After lighting the fireplace and bringing the improvised studio up to temperature, he begins writing songs. Over the course of about three months, he immersed himself in the studio with his instruments, equipment, and vision. The result is an honest and modern-sounding singer-songwriter album with catchy pop songs and dreamy/atmospheric interludes, due for release early next year. Signed by muve recordings since July 2023, Tobias is looking forward to taking the next step in his career internationally. His passion for music has been a source of great strength, even when times are difficult, and he continues to pursue his dreams with passion and enthusiasm. The album showcases his unique songwriting style, combining dreamy soundscapes with catchy melodies and infectious lyrics that are sure to captivate audiences around the world. With this release, Tobias is sure to make a big impact!

During ZMW not only international and local music creators come together, it also aims to highlight the diversity of the music industry. It also contributes to sustainable debate on topics relevant today. With conferences, lectures, workshops and off-events, ZMW is the unique Swiss exchange platform for, for and with representatives of the electronic music scene.

We are thrilled to announce that Chiara Dubey has released an original song titled “All That You Can Be” today. In this song, she collaborates with British producer Ben aka BPMoore. With her beautiful voice, Chiara perfectly matches the electronic/classical instrumental parts, and the lyrics give us warmth and hope.

Chiara about the record: “Ben reached out to me in 2021 with an utterly beautiful, dreamy and uplifting instrumental track, which immediately resonated with me. He already knew what the track meant to him and asked me to rewrite his message in my own words, with my own lyrics.
Ben is a teacher, and wanted “All That You Can Be” to serve as a message of encouragement and hope for the young generation. I tried to imagine myself talking to someone in need of guidance. What would I see? What would I say? The result is this fusion of two hearts and worlds. His thoughts through my words, his music through my voice.”

Ben’s thoughts on the track: “All That You Can Be” was inspired by working as a teacher for 15 years with young people of all ages. With the recent events scarring areas around the world, it’s difficult to know what affect they will have on the mental health of young people. This is in the years to come, when they become adults. My hope is that they can still reach their potential and do everything they dream of.“

Music can provide a healing outlet for young people in hard times. Music empowers them to express themselves and find their own voice.

Chiara Dubey Album Update

A few words from Chiara Dubey

Our artist Chiara Dubey is currently working on her upcoming album and we’re super excited! She describes her second album as a beautiful and nuanced exploration of the human experience. We can’t wait to hear it! Chiara’s album promises to be an emotionally rich and captivating journey for listeners. With the first single likely to be released around September, anticipation for this masterpiece is sure to build. Moreover, fans can look forward to some incredible collaborations along the way.

“I love these creative times. I love new beginnings.
I feel like I have the chance to reinvent my world, rewrite my story, and start over.
We are always in transformation and are never the same person as the day before.
So, sometimes we need a new dress that fits our life better.
I am in the middle of this changeover, and it’s frightening, exciting, and refreshing. 

This fall, after quite a few months (slow cooking) spent writing in my home studio with my talking cat, my upcoming album will be ready, and with it, my next chapter.
It will be kind of a “personal” work, a way for me to share and celebrate some sides of this messy inner microcosm of mine.  

All compositions are now more or less ready, and last week we had the strings and woodwinds recording session – after a sleepless score-writing marathon – in collaboration with RSI Studios. 

The next steps are: recording my vocals, refining the production, mixing & mastering, and finally, printing. There is an intense summer ahead, but it will be worth it! 

In all this, my talented friend Jakob Eisenbach and my label LIVANA Music have been so precious, accompanying me through the whole process.
I really can’t wait to let you be a part of this with me. I hope you will still wait for me a little longer, and be part of my journey!
