In his songs, the stories that drive him are in the foreground. In the song «Miracle» he sums up his experience beyond conventions: „No more disguise – nowhere to run.“ Without disguise, without foreign roles, the urge to run away is also eliminated. In other songs he addresses self-love, and even the climate crisis with the song "Same Boat" - a take on environmental exploitation by the rich and powerful without them realising that we’re all in the same boat. Shem produced the majority of the eight songs himself in his own studio.
Working with co-producers from different countries. „I had much more influence on the final result - not only on melodies and lyrics, but on the production itself. That freed me up and was the most positive decision I made.“
