Zurich-based artists Samuel Gmür (Animal Trainer) and Alessandro Giannelli (Egopusher) unite their passions for cinematic and neoclassical soundscapes in an exciting new collaboration. On 23 November 2023, their spontaneous studio session gave birth to “231123,” a cinematic creation infused with post-rock elements. Their debut EP, featuring two tracks, drops on 10 April via LIVANA MUSIC—marking the beginning of a musical journey that transcends genres.

Notable achievements include his remix of Diskret’s track Limba, named one of Radio SRF’s top ten electronic songs of 2021. Now, Giannelli is dedicated to refining his unique sound as a producer.

New single “Apnea”

“Apnea” is the electrifying result of an intense cross-border collaboration between the Swiss-German group SUNLIKE BROTHERS and the Swiss producer duo LAV x MKEY. The two groups met at a festival and immediately clicked musically. During the event, they exchanged their passion for Afro-House music and realized their musical directions were perfectly aligned. That very weekend, they began exchanging ideas and working on the instrumental track. When their close friend, the Italian singer ARPIA DIULRIO, recorded her vocals, “Apnea” transformed into something magical. ARPIA’s authentic and powerful vocals added depth and emotion to the song, which is now poised to storm the charts. The LIVANA MUSIC team instantly fell in love with the track and signed it on the spot.

Tobias Jensen Debut Album

What if you took the plunge and pursued your dreams? Swiss/Danish Tobias Jensen has never turned back after following this path since his youth.

While composing and recording demos for his debut album, Tobias considers his Danish roots and travels to a small beach house on the Baltic Sea in winter. He began writing songs as soon as he lit the fireplace and heated up the improvised studio. The three months that he spent in the studio were spent immersing himself in his instruments, equipment, and visions. This has resulted in a 12 song emotive Pop album that is honest and modern-sounding. His ears were filled with the sounds of the wind, the fire, and the sea. Instrumental interludes are interspersed with these soundscapes.

Tobias Jensen‘s songs tell stories of his everyday life, and these stories hit right to the core. As a musician, the singer isn’t afraid to address serious issues like the passing of a loved one, drifting away from once close friends, and continually questioning the environment around him. The songs that he sings are nonetheless filled with longing and melancholy, but they also convey confidence and a sense of positive strength.
